Project 365 - Day Two Hundred And Twenty-Eight

I don't know about you but I love hanging out with my mum! The road trip was an amazing time to talk, laugh until breathing became a bit of a problem, play car games, catch up with different friends and relatives and it gave me a chance to learn a bit more of my family history.

But back to how awesome my mum is. She really is you know. I'm not just saying that. She supports me in my dreams and ambitions, give great advice, works incredibly hard, is incredibly smart and talented, is always encouraging and is a fantastic role model. I could go on and on and on. Another fantastic thing about my mum is she is happy to stop at the side of the road whenever I see something I want to take a photo of. How great is that? So when I saw these train tracks out in the middle of nowhere we pulled off to the side and I took off snapping.

It's great to have the encouragement and support from my mum as I figure out what my next steps should be. For this, mum, and oh so much more thank you from the bottom of my heart. You're one in a million!!

At our first nights stop I got to catch up with my Uncle K and Auntie N (Well, they aren't actually my real uncle and aunt but that's a story for a different time). It was phenomenal to catch up with them not the least of which I got to talk to Uncle K and droll over (part) of his impressive camera collection. This man knows more about photography than I could ever hope to learn in a lifetime... As you can probably guess the conversation somehow steered itself towards camera talk.

It was so beautiful! It was by far the most comprehensive collection of film cameras I have ever seen. Like a moth to a flame I found myself continually drawn to this impressive display (two shelves with more hidden in the garage). In short I was in heaven!

~ Thanks so much for reading! Come back soon. Tafline
