Quote of the Week

A friend of mine knows of my deep addiction to quotes and she recently shared the best one I've read in a while. I just knew I had to pass it on.

"The peculiar evil of silencing the expression of an opinion is that it is robbing the human race...If the opinion is right, they are deprived of the opportunity of exchanging error for truth: if wrong, they lose what is almost as great a benefit, the clearer perception and livelier impression of truth, produced by its collision with error." John Stuart Mill.

Just... Wow!! Right? I mean that is just so spot on. Don't you think? I mean the whole human experience is about that. Like is all about learning and sharing experience. When I read this quote it simply resonated and made so much sense. I seriously got chills.

What do you think of this quote?
