Project 365 - Day One Hundred And Fifty-Seven

I had a different shot planned for today but the day got away from me and before I had realized my window of opportunity had passed me by. But not to worry I'll save that idea for later this week. So instead I took a picture of a carnation currently decorating my dining room table.

I find flowers so elegant - the petals, the color, and the fragrance. They are like a delicate decadence. Yep flowers just make me smile and carnations are one of my favorites. But then so many are my favorites... I think I just like flower indiscriminately.
