Quote of the Week

It's that time again... It's QUOTE TIME!!! (Doesn't have quite the same ring to it as Hammer Time, does it?).

Anyway, what do you guys think of last week's quote? A big thank you to Bobbyd for an fantastic quote I've never heard of. It's defiantly going into the quote collection.

Today's quote is a favorite of mine. Whenever I'm feeling self-conscious or unsure of myself I remind myself of this quote and it gives me a defiant boost. It was said by an awesome author - a defiant plus.

Be who you are and say what you feel because those who mind don't matter and those who matter don't mind. ~ Dr. Suess

How fantastic is Dr. Suess? I can't remember if I was read Dr. Suess when I was little. But I'm pretty sure I would have heard his word somewhere. His ability to rhyme is phenomenal - a true talent to be sure.

As I said last time I am a great fan of quotes so please share!! I'll probably be back later today for another post - today is going to be fantastic!

In the meantime I hope you have a fantastic day filled with fun, friends and frivolity. But I'm wondering - Is there a quote encourages you to remain true to yourself? If so, please share!

  1. i love the Dr. Suess quote. One of my all-time favorites.

"All my life I had been looking for something, and everywhere I turned someone tried to tell me what it was. I accepted their answers too, though they were often in contradiction and even self-contradictory. I was naïve. I was looking for myself and asking everyone except myself questions which I, and only I, could answer. It took me a long time and much painful boomeranging of my expectations to achieve a realization everyone else
appears to have been born with: that I am nobody but myself."
