My love of all things night is well documented on this blog so there's no real need to rehash it all again. So on day three hundred and fifty-eight I stopped on my way home to catch the beauty of the night. The streetlights shrouded in darkness acting as a beacon lighting my way back home seemed like the perfect subject material.

My ultra wide angle lens gave this photo a bit more 'pop' (a real technical term there). If I had taken this photo with a different lens it would have lacked something. I love how the beams from the streetlights stream out. There truly is something magical about the night!
