I don't know about you but sometimes I just need to sit and watch the sun set. There is a steady calm in a sunset that causes me to breathe deep. The soothing tones. The glorious light. The end of a day. A time to reflect.
I waited until the sun dipped low behind the trees, set my shutter for 3 seconds, pressed my remote shutter remote and sat back to enjoy the fading light. The slow shutter turned the lake into a calm, slightly foggy mirror that repeated the light ever so softly. I was caught in the beauty, entranced by the light and forever grateful that I could see and capture such a sight.
