Brisbane is/has been experiencing some wild weather lately. Fierce storms, gale force winds, the whole bit. I had the slightly scary experience of driving in pelting rain so think I could hardly see past my windscreen. Needless to say I was extremely happy to make it back to my warm, dry comforts of home. I darted out to my courtyard and snapped the first thing I laid eyes on.

I like it that there is life in a seemingly dead tree. Truly I had just about given up hope for this little lime tree and then I see beautiful signs of life. It kind of reminded me of hope in a seemingly hopeless situation...
